TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s government is considering putting together an economic stimulus package with fiscal spending exceeding 10 trillion yen ($92.05 billion), the Nikkei newspaper reported on Saturday.
The government will issue more bonds to fund part of the package and make up for shortfalls in tax revenues, the paper said without citing sources.
